“This intimate connection with another man was the only thing to keep him
sane on a long voyage such as this one. That was the pirate way.”

“William Turner’d got that very same look when he wasn’t sure what he was sailing into.”

“Just the way Bootstrap used to look when he was thinking of something, ah,
what was the delicate way to put it? something inappropriate.”

“It mocked him because it had shown him so very much tonight,
ridiculed his new-found inability to pursue his desires.

“The graceful lines and planes of golden filled Jack’s head, filled the hold with the
overwhelming scent, filled his body with punishing and debilitating desire.
As if every breath Will took was stolen directly from Jack’s lungs.”

“The fingers were a bit rough; he didn’t think Elizabeth’s hands were so rough.
But they were comforting, nonetheless.”

“It took every bit of self-control Jack had ever possessed in his entire life
to not lean forward, closer to that delightful navel,
and fuck it with his tongue.”

“How could it be that he, a perfectly ordinary and normal man in every way, was attracted not only to another man, but the most disreputable and questionable man he had ever met?”

“He’d had no idea it would feel so good to have someone lick the backs of his teeth like that.”

“Will was torn between being disgusted by the idea and wanting his tongue back in Jack’s mouth.”

“Was this normal? Will didn’t care. He never wanted it to end.”

“His ship was gone. The rum was gone, his pride was gone…He’d lost his Will.”

“I would have taken your lovely face in my hands and kissed the life back into you, stroked all over your luscious body with my hands and my tongue to bring the warmth back.”

“With a hint of sweet rum ever-present and an undercurrent of something Will couldn’t quite place, but he suspected it was rather like an almost overripe mango might taste, if it were eaten midmorning, moments after having woken up, while lying on a warm Caribbean beach.”

“Captain Jack Sparrow! Oh my goodness, Bill, what you bring a ruffian like this into our home for?”

“He rubbed the coarse fabric over his face. Yes, this was Will’s; it couldn’t be anyone else’s”

“That is the son of Mama’s new husband? Lord oh Lord, what does the father look like?”

“When their tongues touched, it reminded Jack of the first time he’d been struck by lightening.”

“‘Did I teach him that?’ Jack wondered vaguely…‘God, yes, I taught him that. I must be a genius.’”

“You have a Pirate Captain. Everyone knows that beats a Commodore any day,
and you, my dear, sweet boy, are a winner.”

“Jack was appalled. He’d barely known the woman a few days and she already wanted to kill him.”

“He hoped they were doing whatever was necessary to outrun the Interceptor II. They could perform all the unspeakable acts they wanted once they’d done that.”

“So bleak,” he said aloud. “So very dismal-like without you, Will.”

“He nuzzled his nose against Jack’s neck, snuggled into Jack’s chest,
and brought his elusive right nipple within touching distance.”

“That was an involuntary leap of the penis, Jack would have sworn;
he could not have helped that if his life depended on it.”

“Will Turner was running, no frolicking, in the surf. Naked.”

“And if he really really tried, he could understand that someone inexperienced, such as Will,
might think it inappropriate to go ahead and touch some else’s arse, unexpected like.”

“I believe he is quite smitten with the Captain, but he’s, um, unfamiliar with the ways of love.”

“So they spent the better part of the day with Will swimming in trousers far too big,
and Jack hoping against all hope they would fall down.”

“Well, to tell you the truth, it’s a bit fiddly for my taste,
but she seemed to think it was rather fetching.”

“But then, he had thought only a few minutes before that nothing could be better than Jack’s mouth on his bollocks. So he had to admit there was always room for improvement.”

“On consideration, a low, satisfied purr might be nicer than a desperate howl. Really only one way to find out, was there?” He’d simply have to sample both before the night was through.”

“I don’t know, I just love hearing about them together. Quite a handsome pair, don’t you agree?”

“If the cost of making him balanced again was to fall in love with him a little more, that was a price well worth paying.”

“And you must think I think an awful lot of Jack Sparrow
if you think I’d trade him for a whole ship of pirates.”

“Really, the stockings were going in the wrong direction,
but that didn’t make the sight any less tantalizing.”

“The head of his cock was positioned almost exactly where, in an ideal world, it should be.”

“All this responsibility was wreaking havoc with Charlotte’s sex life.”

“The short version of the tale is this; you see, mum got married again.”

“And now, here in the brig; his prize. He leered at a long leg, folded in half under torn clothes”

“He’s Captain Jack Sparrow.” Little Tess said plainly. “And he loves my uncle, savvy?”

“…he couldn’t help them now. If he couldn’t reach Will,
he wasn’t planning on going back up again.”

“Armies would surrender, just for one more kiss.”

“Are you awake?” Quiver-inducing breathy whisper against his neck. “Hmm, I’m not entirely sure.
I suspect I may be having a really lovely dream,” Jack murmured.

“This gentlemanly way of piracy wasn’t entirely to his liking. He’d rather have done them all in…”

“Suppose if the man being breached were to do the breaching, then perhaps he might understand the process a bit better and not be so bothered by being breached…”

“He’s in so deep he’s never been in this deep before.”

“If it weren’t for the nigh unbearable awkwardness of the moment it would have been like being in two different heavens at the same time.”

“He patted his son on the shoulder and backed out of the room.
‘Take good care of him, son. He’s yours now.’”

“It had been a painfully frustrating day, but this more than made up for it.”

“And Jack would be rubbed against like this forever,
but that would prevent him from fucking Will, so perhaps not.”

“Well, there’s no shortage of men around. We’re bound to find someone suitable.”

“It was sweet in a way. He was so completely not aroused by her,
but he still wanted to knock her up.”

“Will purred. Jack knew in his heart that Will didn’t purr for her. She could make him moan
and she could make him spill his seed in her, but there was no way she made him purr.”

“Jack was struck by how utterly ridiculous laws and countries and empires are. Right before he was struck by how bloody much his shoulder hurt, and how much he wanted Will.”

“I don’t want to argue with you. I want to take a bath with you.”

“Beauty was one thing, to be sure, but it was the skill as well that made Will react like this.”

“The wet pink tongue darted out and circled, laving the ragged nail. He let his fingertip run along the sharp edge of an incisor. Will sank the tooth into Jack’s fingertip, just enough to smart, not enough to hurt. Then the tongue swept over the little indent in the skin making everything better.”

“And did he care if everybody looked? Not at all. They should look.
After all, he was Captain Jack Sparrow”

“If it wasn’t career and it wasn’t social matters, there was only one other possibility.
And Bootstrap most decidedly did not feel up to giving his son pointers on how to
go about having sex with Captain Jack Sparrow.”

“I shall not be comfortable, sleeping without you tonight,” Will said simply.

“She really was quite fetching, and would even be beautiful to Will,
if it wasn’t for her being a woman.”

“White trousers and red coats swam into view. Good lord, it was an invasion!”

“Will staring back up at him with wide, wicked eyes. It always made him dizzy when he saw that. Will always made him dizzy. How lucky could a man be?”

“Of course, in a perfect world he’d be doing all this naked,
or at the very least naked to the waist…”

“This was definitely wrong. He should not be watching.
He should not be seeing something so personal.
He should not be sliding his hand into his trousers…”

“But Jack, ever wanting more, ever the pirate, craved the words.”

“He wondered if the warmth he felt stirring inside him at the sight of that hard body
with it’s sweat-slicked skin was a mortal sin or a misdemeanour.”

“Izcatqui. Here it is. This is it. Where the treasure lies. Mine. I give it up for no one.”

“Lust, when accompanied by love, was more powerful than even fear.”

“… surprised by how saying it out loud suddenly made him feel insecure.”

“The four of them probably constituted the closest science would ever get to perpetual motion.”

“The slap was hard and fast, leaving Jack no room to react. He was sure he didn’t deserve it.”

“He wished he could remember Anamaria telling him this first hand, because it was proving to be bloody exciting third hand.”

“Jack leapt across the room for the oil and bounced back, skidding to a halt
in front of Will’s spread legs.”

“Because you don’t get to be a pirate captain without excellent skills of recovery.”

“Will Turner would not take this sort of threat sitting down.
He stood suddenly, almost overturning the table, ready to draw his sword.”

“First, he would dispatch this snake. Then he was going to see about buying Will a new pair of boots, because, frankly, it was far too intimate to have him walking around in public like that.”

“You are,” Will then said, his voice soft the way Jack liked it sometimes,
“everything that has ever happened to you. Everything has made you what you are…”

“Will sighed, lashes all fluttery and dark, and turned his head.
God, no, Jack thought, not the toe. Not the same toe I just had in your…”

“Jack was being very formal. He’d put on his pirate captain face, and was definitely using his
pirate captain voice. It gave Will little goosebumps on the back of his neck, although
he would never admit it to anyone, when Jack decided to play captain.”

“A cat I can live with,” Jack agreed, ignoring the whole rat-fear remark.
He nibbled on the top ridge of Will’s ear. “But the cattle will have to go.”

“I felt silly, sitting here all by my onesie talking to a cat with no name."

“Jack was grateful he was lying down. It saved him the bother of swooning.”

“Naked. She didn’t know why that was so surprising. Everyone is naked under their clothing;
even people one would not wish to see naked.
She wasn’t sure that she wished to see Jack naked, but there he was.”

“Jonathon, please. Eat something. You know you have a tendency to keel over if you have a shock when you haven’t had enough to eat.” She turned to face Tessie, who sat at her right.
“It’s a bit of a family trait, if truth be told.”

“Once all were settled, the DeMauriers and the Duncrofts and the Turners
and whatever Charlotte was, they all eyed one another warily.”

“Jack turned suddenly, pushed Will back against the sturdy trunk of a palm and grabbed Will’s wrists, which he pressed down and against the tree. “Good, because there’s only one coincidence I’m actually interested in, savvy?” he growled into Will’s ear.”

“Forever,” Will repeated. “Yours.” He kissed Jack eagerly, “And not just in your bed.”
He licked a stripe down Jack’s cheek and nipped at his chin.

“And if you do just leave in the night without talking to him, it won’t matter that the Black Pearl’s
the fastest ship on the ocean; I will hunt you down and cut your bollocks off,
because that’s my son’s heart you’re holding in your hand.”

“He had fine features, beautifully shaped cheekbones and arched eyebrows. Judging by the length of the one curl, he must have had lovely long hair before this was done to him.”

“‘Not…’ Jack choked. Not what he had in mind, but it was excruciatingly wonderful.”

“Jack fiddled with a braid in his beard. “Well, you were peeing and I was watching,
but I wasn’t specifically watching you pee, I was just standing like, looking around
and there you were…” He let go of the beard and waved his hands in the air, helpless like.
That looked ridiculous. His hands went back to the beard.

“You need to relax. Fear can be useful in battle, but this fretfulness will not do.”

“But what was he doing being noble and brave? Jack didn’t want him noble and brave.
Jack wanted Will safe and sound. Why had he ever let Will stay and fight?”

“Nagaraj, you’re outnumbered.”
Nagaraj backed up, looked over his shoulder at Elizabeth and then at Will. “You’re right,” he said, and in a move that was almost too fast to follow, he pulled a blade out from his boot and hurled it.

“He turned to the side, and there was Will Turner. Ridiculous, he told himself. Never happened. Will was smiling at him, and that was absurd because Will Turner would never smile at a pirate.”

“How pathetic. Here he was, on his way to his death,
and he was lusting after a man he barely knew.”

“You can’t judge heaven by how good Will Turner looks.”

“The bloody patient is already excited, Madame.
So would you kindly leave me alone and allow me some relief?”

“Do you need me to get the boots?”

“Are you sure the wedding is a good idea?”

“Don’t look, Jack told himself, you’ll never be able to look away.”

“Painfully hard and jealous beyond compare, Will wondered if this was
some sort of punishment for agreeing to sleep with the woman in the first place.”

“Will spread his arms a bit wider as well, and the resultant striation of chest muscles was almost enough to make Jack whimper. Except that wouldn’t be very captain-like now, would it?”

“Of course, he’d heard of Jack Sparrow.
He’d also heard of Paul Bunyan, Robin Hood and Peter fucking Pan.”
